Thank you Dream. For 3 quarters anyway, we caught a glimpse of the old, unstoppable version of Olajuwon. 30 points after hitting 13 of his first 19 shots. Too bad the fourth quarter had to come along for this team ...
Poor Cat. After a tiger-like performance against the Magic, he's looked like nothing but one of those wussy hairless cats -- you know, the ugly ones. Mobley shot 3-12 and could have built a large chimney with the number of bricks he threw up in the fourth. He's in a bad slump. Hopefully he'll be out of it soon -- this is his 4th straight "Got Rocked" performance and he's catching up to the record of 50 set back in 1999 by Scottie Pippen
For three quarters, the Rockets shot phenomenally well.

Hakeem Olajuwon was Hakeem Olajuwon again. Charles Barkley was Charles Barkley again. The Rockets were the Rockets again.

Then the fourth quarter arrived, and the Rockets became, well... the Rockets in the fourth quarter.

After leading by 14 points after one quarter, the Rockets got outscored by 32 points the rest of the way, and saw a 2-point deficit to start the fourth turn into an 18-point 128-110 drumming at the hands of the Sacramento Kings.

The loss drops the Rockets' record to a dismal 2-8, the worst record bar none in the Western Conference.

The Kings, who led the league in turnovers last season, committed just 10, while the Rockets had twice that. The Kings also hit 14-33 from three-point range while the Rockets, for the third straight game, hit about 20-25% (4-19) from long range.

Hakeem scored 30 points through three quarters, but had just a free throw in the fourth, finishing with 31 points in 34 minutes. He also added 8 boards and 3 blocks.

Barkley scored 16 points and grabbed 16 boards in 28 minutes of action. Steve Francis had 16 points on 6-14 shooting to go with 11 assists while Shandon Anderson added 11 points, 6 boards and 4 assists.

Cuttino Mobley continues to disappoint on the shooting end, hitting just 3-12 shots, including another 0-fer from long range (0-4), but did manage 7 assists. Bryce Drew also struggled, hitting 3-9 for 7 points. Kelvin Cato added 8 points and 6 boards in 18 minutes.

The Rockets are now 0-6 at home.
